On this day, August 8, 1944, my Uncle Ian Wallace Johnston was killed fighting Nazis in Normandy with the Royal Canadian Artillery.
7 years later my parents named me after Ian:
David Ian Wallace Hamer.

@MountAllison Intrusive learning, if well structured and taught, is awesome. Add in experiential elements and and reflection and the learning and retention can be off the charts (I say this based on 33 years of doing just that in the field of leadership development).
