Bible doesn't say this at all. In fact, it says that we'll live in a prefect peaceful society here on earth where Christ is the center, but we seem to have jobs, agriculture, societies, I wouldn't be surprised if we'll have science and art as well. I was guilty of this too, but most atheists and often Christians view of heaven and hell are not biblical but are instead created by fiction.

@SannRZK @crushedtoleft25 @Xtopher_Uzo If you agree that God judges us by works, then you’ve conceded that it is an active, obedient faith that saves us. Or are you saying he somehow judges our works without them having to do with salvation?

Protestants, when they finally discover that the only time "faith alone" appeared in the bible was when the Bible was kicking against faith alone.

@HD_81_ @crushedtoleft25 @Xtopher_Uzo I'm not neglecting that our works are going to be judged, but in the case of those who have not been born again, they will receive everlasting destruction, but those who have been saved they will receive rewards, or suffer loss if the works get burned but they will still be saved

@SannRZK @crushedtoleft25 @Xtopher_Uzo Yeah, YOU have to have faith in him. If you don’t, you fail to accept the grace. We believe in the same source of salvation, just a different way of receiving it. And I think the Bible is abundantly clear that we are judged by works. No getting around that.

If you follow those things as Christ’s Law in faith working through love, you are saved. This isn’t difficult to understand.

If you follow those commands not because of Christ’s work on the cross, you are bound to the whole Mosaic Law; the one no longer in use. The thing being condemned.

Those who add water baptism as an extra requirement to “really” be a Christian, are making the same ERROR the Galatians were. Adding 1 good act of obedience as part of being saved = Christ won’t save you (Gal. 5:2) Whether it be circumcision, baptism or sharing the gospel.

Paul is talking about the same thing when he is talking about works, you know what's also part of the law? not coveting, not commiting adultery, and everything else. No one is justified before God by the law
