The project title is "Hyper-Personalized Learning Paths Through the Internet: A Sustainable Approach To Accelerating Language Education". I have funding to hire a postdoctoral researcher who wants to work at the intersection of NLP, HCI and CALL. RT pls.

@jurgenvinju @sigplan I had the same from @IEEE, multiple times. This is INSANE! Do they think I will react different when sending me snail mail, even though they already sent me tons of email reminders? Other questions: Do we want to be represented by such an organization? Rather not!

Had a fantastic run today morning along the Danube river in Ulm together with @ThomasThuem and @acherm . Now ready to get started with #FOSD2023

Eventually arrvied at Stuttgart and got a regional train to Ulm. Perfect time to start the relaxing part of the day ;-) Expecting more (beer) to come at #FOSD23

With some sense of humor I would say that the difference between german railway being on strike and not is: In the former case, you know that you won't arrive. With the latter...you know nothing for sure until you arrive (or not) :-P #FOSD23

OK, after the first stop another 15 minutes delay have been added and I am now on a completely different route than in my original schedule. But at least there is a relatively good chance to still arrive today...around midnight (and thus, two hours late). #FOSD23

The later the night...the more ceremonial the occasion. Honored and thrilled that we (me with @i_schaefer and Oliver Richers) received the MIP award 2023 of @programmingconf for our AOSD '13 paper "Refactoring Delta Oriented SPLs". Many thanks, well appreciated!!

@reallynotabba providing interesting insights of how ChaGPT can and can not support software re-engineering. Main takeway: it can support basic tasks, but exhibits limitations for a really advanced reengineering projects. #WSRE2023

@profbodden Es wird auffällig prominent erwähnt, dass der D-Takt ca. 50-60 Mrd. kostet. So what!? Für die Truppe mal eben 100-200 Mrd. zu verbrennen geht problemlos, da muss es doch wohl möglich sein für ein bei weitem wichtigeres Projekt ebenfalls Geld in die Hand zu nehmen. Unfassbar!!
