Minimum wage ₦125/month Price of Cement - N11 Bags of cement it afford - 12 bags 1991... minimum wage - ₦250/month price of cement - N110 Bags of cement it afford - 2 bags 1998/1999 Minimum wage - ₦3,000/month price of cement - N1000 Bags of cement it afford - 3 bags 2004 minimum wage -₦7,500/month Price of Cement - N1500 Bags of Cement it afford - 5 bags 2011 minimum wage - ₦18,000/month Price of Cement - N3000 Bags of cement it afford = 6 bags May 2023 minimum wage - ₦30,000/month Price of Cement - N5000 Bags of cement it afford - 6 bags 2026 ₦70,000/month Price of Cement - N12,000 Bags of cement it can afford - 6 bags... Nigeria is using more cement today than ever.... If you listen to the opposition...you would think the world is ending tomorrow.... But if you look beyond their emotional blackmail you would discover that the world is just getting started.... When prices are rising you position yourself to be a beneficiary... But Wailers scout the internet everyday to get the bad news that would make them more miserable... They are the reason why the Urhobos say. It is better to born a thief than to born a mumu... Proverbs are not for kids....

Victor Osimhen: “I left home with a backpack and 2 pairs of clothes. The one I was wearing, and a green kit in my bag. We drove to Abuja in the oldest car you can imagine, and we arrived at midnight. The next morning, the sun came up, and I saw 1 million kids with a dream. Maybe 1 million is an exaggeration, but not by much. There must have been 900 kids waiting outside this stadium. The first day, I didn’t even get on the pitch. The second day, one of the coaches finally pointed at me. ‘Green shirt. Let’s go. You have 15 minutes.’ Just 15 minutes to change my life. I knew that the only way to impress them was to run. So I ran until I was sweating blood. I ended up scoring 2 goals in 15 minutes. I thought that maybe I had a chance. But then the coaches got on a microphone, and they addressed the crowd. They called out some names, and I did not hear my name. Everybody started walking to the parking lot. My dream was dead. I was just about to get in the car when I heard people shouting. ‘Hey! Hey! The guy in green!’ Huh??? I turned around, and some kids were waving to me. I pointed to my chest, like in the movies. Me??? I looked behind me. ‘The guy in green!’ Lucky green. I ran back over to them, and they said, ‘Hey, the coach wants to see you. The team doctor told him you were the guy who scored two goals. Are you the guy?’ I said, ‘I’m the guy!!! I’M THE GUY!!!!’ I went back into the stadium and the doctor was pointing at me and holding up two fingers. He said, ‘That’s the kid.’ Two fingers saved me. If the team doctor didn’t do that, I would not be a footballer today. I would probably be at the bottom of a well.” When you are relentless, nature will conspire to make everything work in your favour.

INEC has hurriedly published the number of registered members of leading political parties in Nigeria: APC 12,897,723 PDP 2, 487,000 ADC 1, 655,890 LP: 1,300,390 NDC: 700,789 They did not publish this when APC was doing their primaries. Immediately ADC is doing their primary; they brought it out so they can discredit ADC's primary 10 million voters. APC is an interested party too.

Politician in the Day, Bandit at night! His name is Nuru Aliyu Garwa, a former Senior Special Adviser on Community Development to the Katsina State Governor. He recently resigned in order to contest in the House of Assembly to represent his people. On May 13th, an eight year old boy was abducted while coming home from a Quranic School, his family were contacted and a ransom of 50 million was requested by the bandits or kidnappers. The price was negotiated and brought down to 17 Million which was paid. After this, the family reached out to a security outfit known as Violent Crime Response Unit in Katsina State. The Unit swung into action and started their investigation. The investigation led to the arrest of 6 of the bandits on the 23rd of May. This arrest of the six led to the arrest of the other member and boss, Nuru Aliyu Garwa, the former SSA on Community Development to the Governor on the 24th of May. In his house they found 7.5 million in a Ghana must go bag which the Security Unit believed is his own share of the ransom, they also found the bike used in operations and some other items. However, investigations still ongoing. — Citizen Nagaziman

Nigeria has not over borrowed compared to countries like Egypt, South Africa and West African country of Senegal. Nigeria is credit worthy and can still take more loans to finance infrastructure. The unwarranted alarm against loans is symptomatic of economic and financial ignorance.
Akinwumi@Big_marvis

Egypt’s total debt is estimated at over $400 billion, with a GDP around $390 billion — debt-to-GDP above 100%. South Africa’s debt is about $580 billion, with GDP around $420 billion — roughly 135% debt-to-GDP. Nigeria’s total public debt is about $110 billion, with a GDP around $340 billion — roughly 35% debt-to-GDP. Yet some people keep shouting that Nigeria is the “loan capital of the world.” To them: Loans are Haram. Education is Haram. Road construction is Haram. Power projects are Haram. Internet expansion is Haram. Railway modernization is Haram. Airport upgrades are Haram. Seaport reforms are Haram. Dams and agro-processing projects are Haram. Solar energy expansion is Haram. But the same people praise countries that borrowed far more aggressively to build infrastructure and grow their economies. The difference between productive borrowing and reckless borrowing is simple: what the money is used for. If loans are used to build roads, expand electricity, improve transport, increase internet access, modernize ports, support agriculture, and attract investment, those are long-term national assets. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says the focus is on infrastructure that can improve productivity and economic growth across Nigeria. Criticism is normal in democracy, but opposing every single project simply because of politics helps nobody. Development is not the enemy. Underdevelopment is. Some people are no longer in any coven. They are simply online 24/7 wailing against everything.

“I am the governor of the ancestral birthplace of Mr President. How can I have my own in the saddle and think twice before embracing him? I need no persuasion to act, as I have declared repeatedly, on our endorsement of Mr President. “How many governors are as lucky as me? Well, my brother, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, will claim to be luckier. But we, in Osun State, count ourselves lucky and privileged to have one of our illustrious sons and fathers at the helm of affairs of Nigeria….”

The ADC leads in properly counting the votes at its ongoing nationwide presidential primaries when compared to the abracadabra vote count of the ruling APC, which produced inflated votes that is a dress rehearsal to seek for its rigging strategy. The difference is clear between the Democrats and the Communists. #Atiku #Amaechi #Hayatudeen #ADCPresidentialPrimary

I was having a conversation with my neighbour yesterday evening and honestly, I was shocked when he said he wants President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to get another term in office. This is someone who has always strongly opposed the APC and regularly criticises this administration anytime politics comes up in our discussions. Out of curiosity, I asked him what changed. I wanted to know when he suddenly became an advocate for President Tinubu, and whether he had also been “bought over” like people usually accuse supporters of this government of being. To my surprise, he said his company has never had it this good in over 30 years of operating in Nigeria. According to him, in the last two years Mantrac, or CAT’s as many people know it business has improved massively. He said they are recording tremendous sales and this is because more foreign companies are coming into Nigeria while some others that left are returning largely because of the relative stability in foreign exchange and the economic reforms currently in place. He went further to say that he now believes another four years under President Tinubu could put Nigeria on a steady path of growth and development. Honestly, I just sat there listening with my mouth wide open. This was the same man who never missed an opportunity to call the President all sorts of names. But then again, maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. I personally support a President who, in my view, understands exactly what he’s doing and where he is taking the country to. Again, deep down, I think many critics of this administration can actually see the positive changes happening, but have refused to admit it publicly because they fear backlash or being cancelled by the usual mob. facebook.com/share/p/1NUzLa…
