It’s this time of the year. I‘m kinda late but has been a tradition for years to write a little something on my birthday. This year has definitely been the least active I have been on X in a long time - but my profile slogan still stands - I‘m being delusional about building my dreams and do so in the real world. @esportfirecom still breaks record numbers and I‘m so proud of what this project became and where it let me. Excited for the future, feeling amazingly and so enthusiastic about what I‘m doing - which to me is the whole point of this little game called life. Turns out the last "One more superstar" Falcons needed to win the Major was one of the worst fraggers in the scene. Another example why a team needs a brain to function, and that true IGL has become a rare species.

The guy NiKo kicked after losing the Major turned out to be the one to give him his first Major title eight years later. It's so peak.

Just a brief word on why I personally care about Niko winning a major.. Linked here is the original iNation lineup. For people who weren't around, you missed out on how actually good YNk was an AWPer. But you also missed out on a 16 year old called NiKolinho who was very obviously a once in a generation talent. I probably casted every single iNation game played in 2013 and most of them in 2014 and if you could find the VODs of this, you'd be hearing a lot of conversation about how much of a talent this guy was and what a bright future he has and all that. Following someone's career for this long and watching them not win the major that their skill level almost compells them to do, for me is a fairly emotional journey. No doubt since then Niko has had his own challenges and has at times been his own worst enemy, but im here for that part of the story too. If they don't win today, I won't be sad because it'll be an unreal victory for another friend of mine in Fallen, but I will be waking up at night worried that Niko never does it. For me CS will always feel a bit wrong if he doesn't.
