I’ve lived in Crawley for 45 years, building deep roots as a resident, parent, and professional. With 15 years of experience as a Property Manager, I’m used to solving complex problems and working closely with council departments, which has given me a clear view of how local services have declined. As a parent of three children educated in Crawley, I’ve also seen the pressures families face - most recently when we couldn’t secure any of our preferred secondary school choices. It’s clear that we cannot keep expanding housing without ensuring that essential infrastructure like schools, doctors’ surgeries, hospitals, and other services grows alongside it. I care deeply about Crawley’s future. Residents deserve safe streets, a town centre with real energy, and roads that are repaired properly rather than patched up again and again. Local businesses in our neighbourhood parades need the right conditions to survive and thrive, helping to reduce unemployment and strengthen our community. Crawley has enormous potential, but we need a clear vision, stronger services, and a renewed focus on safety and opportunity so that our town can truly flourish again. - Sarah
