In what has been an underwhelming tournament for Canada so far, Kristin O’Neill is deserving of some recognition. Leads the team in 5v5 scoring. Canada is up 5-0 with her on the ice at 5v5. A consistent presence who has brought energy and compete every game, every shift.

Hockey Canada shared some videos of players getting Olympic calls. This one with Kristin O'Neill really got me. Troy Ryan's emotion at the end here says it all. O'Neill will play at her 1st Olympics in February. She was a taxi squad player in 2022, so she didn't get a medal.
