Big day today as I submitted my PhD thesis. I celebrated with a winter cocktail at lunch 🍸
My thesis starts and ends with @Neil_J_Smart Still heartbroken that he's not here to cast his eye over it. Very grateful to @ericpaulimd for sense checking my intro chapter in his absence

The Government has consistently refused offers to meet and put up further obstacles to prevent meaningful talks occurring.
We are now asking @DHSCgovuk to agree to the arbitration service, @acasorguk, facilitating talks so we can move towards a resolution.

Here’s my payslip as a first year doctor in 2005, next to a first year doctor colleague’s in 2023. 18 years later, their take home salary is less than mine was. I lived for free in hospital accommodation and had a fraction of their student loan.
