Last night in Reading Borough Council our motion on condemning the racism & misogyny made about MP Diane Abbott & a solidarity with Black Women in public life was passed by all Councillors. We spoke passionately about racism & supportive speeches from Councillors cross-parties.

I'm really pleased to see we are getting the dropped kerbs I suggested in Battle (Curzon, Catherine & Audley Streets. If we want to encourage people out of cars, we need to make our pavements accessible to all. media.reading.gov.uk/news/reading-p…? #rdguk

@ReadingWestside I was asking questions of Thames Water as soon as I knew how widespread the issue was. Plus, as soon as I could, I shared the updates page on my Facebook page. I also stayed in touch with residents who had problems.

Communication was poor, leaving many confused as to how to access water.

@Just_Moi_x @thameswater There already was one at Meadway. A lot of folk thought it had been closed and replaced by Napier Rd.
