Spitting at someone in the UK is not just disrespectful it is legally considered assault. It doesn’t matter if there is no physical injury. The act itself is seen as intentional, offensive contact that violates another person’s dignity and safety. There are real risks involved. Saliva can carry infections, meaning a person can potentially be exposed to diseases through something as simple as being spat on. Beyond that, it can cause distress, fear, and escalate situations unnecessarily. That’s why the law takes it seriously. Even spitting in public spaces can be treated as anti-social behaviour and may lead to fines.

11-year-old boy, while restrained with arms behind his back by two Officers, directed racial slurs toward a female officer and spat on her. The officer delivered a single strike to the boy’s face. No disciplinary action was taken.

@DonnaLouise1212 While uninvited migrants probably sit on their ass in luxury hotels and get benefits with no work requirements whatsoever. Sounds just like here in the US. The government just LOVES foreign invaders, but seems to loath actual native born citizens.

My 23-year-old niece just broke down in tears telling me what the Jobcentre is now doing: They’re FORCING unemployed people to accept ANY job they’re offered—no matter how far away, no matter the hours, no matter if it’s safe. Refuse? They cut your benefits instantly. No money for rent or food. Her “choice”? A late-night curry house in a heavily Muslim area, miles from home. She doesn’t drive. She’d have to travel alone on dark buses, then work surrounded by men in a male-dominated kitchen until the early hours. A young British girl, sent alone into that environment because some bureaucrat says so. This isn’t “getting people into work.” This is state-sanctioned endangerment. Over my dead body will she be forced into that situation. How many other vulnerable young women are being coerced right now? This has to stop.

@thecarolemalone It’s amazing that he is incapable of reading the room . Has he forgotten his reception in Manchester last week? I suggest he walks around many of the cities he’s mentioned to see how our diverse population integrates , especially in no go areas.
