Rainfall amounts in the range of 1-4 inches across the region. Finally had good rainfall amounts across North Huron and Bruce County. Some areas the crops are showing signs of too much water now. #ontag

@WheatPete Fields with Authority. More pronounced where there was more rain. Most fields I’m seeing it work had an inch or more of rain. Only taking down the LQ though.

Probably the coolest reachback I’ve seen from pre-emerge herbicide. Lots of sick lamb’s quarters in 2nd trifoliate soys. Ragweed and pigweed still looking healthy 😜

Based on 7 trials conducted in Ontario, there is a corn yield loss of 2.5 bu/ac for every one inch in weed height up to 2 inches. Yield loss accelerates as weeds be taller. There is a corn yield loss of 6 bu/ac for every 1 inch increase in weed height between 2 and 8 inches.
