Speech Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy are essential parts of the healthcare system, for many patients in Ontario including those with #autism. We should not have to pay out of pocket for our healthcare. #50kisnotok

When my son was diagnosed with #autism at age 2 we were told we were lucky to have such an early diagnosis. Now he's 6 and he's still never received any support from @fordnation. Thank god for that early diagnosis. #50kisnotok

My son has been waiting for more than 4 years for #NeedsBasedTherapy and he's still waiting. I know many others have waited and continue to wait longer. It's not fair. #50kisnotok

Under Kathleen Wynne’s autism program, my girl would have full #NeedsBasedTherapy 2 years ago. Under Doug Ford autism program, my girl got 6mths of speech & a new trampoline she doesn’t use because of the expiry date on the funding given during lockdowns. 5 years waiting so far.

I woke up angry this morning. ANGRY at the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. 2 months after registering Regis for Entry to School, I found out that his 1:1 Early Years language support has been pulled. His voice, his independence further restricted. #50KIsNotOk

In Canada, people should not have to wait 4-6 years + for healthcare. Yes, this is healthcare for these kids! #50KIsNotOk
