@bamumford @MyCommonwealth @jeannebodine Looks like they’re cracking down on it like you want! That’s good. I personally have not seen anyone skip fare on buses. It would be a shame if funding got held up because of a problem they’re already working on fixing 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Federal data shows SEPTA is more reliant on state funding and less on fares and local funding than other mass transit agencies with more than $1 billion in operating expenses. SEPTA doesn’t need a state bailout. It needs reform!

👁️What catches your eye?? 👁️ I've been busy today framing up some original art for the HGC Holiday Art and Fine Craft show this weekend! I picked some old and new pieces, plus some butterflies! I don't bring original art out often, so stop by and check it out.

Are you excited for game 1 of the World Series tonight? I am! I don't have any Phillies merch to share....But this male cardinal is red, and butterscotch krimpets are from Philly. So that counts, right?

This Saturday I'll be at @stump_philly Bella Vista from 2-6! Stop by before game 2 of the World Series to get some art, stationery, and plants, of course. 🪴 I'm excited to be in my old neighborhood. I know I'll be going home with plants and treats from the Italian market!

I'm not a big fan of summer, but there are some beautiful things about it... Like dragonflies! I went out kayaking earlier this week, and saw more than I've ever seen in my life! They are so fun to watch! . Have you noticed a lot of dragonflies this summer?

Happy Friday! It's been such a busy year! The busiest yet for my art business. It's been hard to find time to draw. This week I made it a goal to put aside some time for new work. The goal was to finish these swallows, but I'm happy I at least got a decent start!

I shall have more to say about the trailblazing, incomparable Nichelle Nichols, who shared the bridge with us as Lt. Uhura of the USS Enterprise, and who passed today at age 89. For today, my heart is heavy, my eyes shining like the stars you now rest among, my dearest friend.
