4 years ago today, my all time fav webseries ended on a cliffhanger and we never got to know who Lola Fronde was. Forever sad we won't get season 3. This show was (and still is) a masterpiece. Maybe I'll do a rewatch soon 👀
Honestly, the most shocking thing about this story, was how accommodating her work was to her alleged disability??? (Especially in an environment like tv production??)
@rjlackie We must’ve really been in a writing fog because the no cliffhangers was also your strong stance up until we got to the finale 😂
Yknow what, I don’t regret it - it’s so cool & creepy
@bardigrade@rjlackie I love how tired they all are? Like these are kids, fighting an impossible war by themselves and their plans keep messing up and they almost die every single book. They are emotionally exhausted and done with it! But I am looking forward to getting past the ground-laying.
@bardigrade@rjlackie I need to preface that I’m essentially reading these for the first time (thank you audiobooks) and I’m only 10 books in cause I only dipped into them as a kid and I never got to any of the super plot and character development stuff.
@SarahShelson@rjlackie Sorry to butt in but I heard ANIMORPHS AND I HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT THESE BOOKS (not just because it was such a major part of my childhood) I feel a lot of it went over my head when I was younger
@rjlackie Also, to completely hijack your thread. I need to talk with you about animorphs. I dunno why, in books about aliens and morphing teens, I was caught off-guard by the existence of omnipotent OTHER aliens and androids, but I was not prepared 😂

Earlier this year it was Joan of Arcadia who I think really brushed aside the interesting consequences of the S1 finale and undermined the character of Joan in the process.
Join me next week for whatever 20 year old media I’m catching up on. 🥸
Today in story decisions that make me angry but no one else cares about: 42nd Street
How does none of the chorus consider themselves as possible replacements for the lead? Nope, the only logical choice is the girl who’s been with the company for a month and can’t stay in line.
