Occupational Therapy and other healthcare students and practitioners have had a long history of simulating disability (e.g. visual impairment goggles, wheelchair use, etc). At AbleOT we are writing a piece for @ot_magazine exploring this and how to avoid ableism when learning

@ClareTaylorBU @AbleOTUK @ot_magazine I was one of those students in the 80s! It made me cringe a bit. Would have preferred to have learnt from others’ lived experience.
