Dear other wedding suppliers, Tonight's announcement was probably as good as could be expected under the circumstances. However, please don't forget about us wedding DJs who for us, restrictions have tightened. The ONLY sector to have this happen too. #whataboutweddings

We have faced a very difficult choice. We can simply keep going with all of Step 4 on 21 June even though there is a real possibility that the virus will outrun the vaccines and that thousands more deaths would ensue that could otherwise have been avoided. Or... 1/4

@caitlinandjones @BorisJohnson It's incredibly hard to find a positive way through the year when you have a wedding planned AND a partner who's a DJ 😂 I appreciate your attempt at positivity tho and hope it helps someone

@Sarah_Kayyx @BorisJohnson It's not a replacement at all, you can't beat a good DJ But not all wedding have DJ's. It's important to be open about the enormous problems we've faced through this but it's also important to find a positive way forward through this horrendous year.

@Sarah_Kayyx @BorisJohnson There have been speeches, drinks, outdoor dancing at all of the weddings we've been at recently. Now with unlimited numbers the *literally* only thing people can't have is a DJ and dancing. But you can turn Spotify on and dance outside which is beautiful too.

@caitlinandjones @BorisJohnson Im sure covid weddings have been lovely in their own way, but they haven't been enough for everyone. They haven't been enough to stop many businesses from closing. There has been little support from the start and without @WAWofficialUK my partner would be in much worse shape
