@juvnmiguel973 @echopassionco oh my god people turn to street sex work as a RESULT of being homeless. men (who also do SW btw) make up over 60% of the homeless population in the US and a huge % of that number are veterans who were used and abused by the military then left to rot.

@juvnmiguel973 they absolutely do speak up! but the police and outside orgs dont give a shit (this also applies to other groups such as POC so again isnt limited to just SWers) so it often becomes an "in house" type deal where the abuser gets named & shamed so other performers are made aware

@juvnmiguel973 these issues can happen in *every* industry the only difference is everyone else *outside* of SW and their attitudes towards it and SWers. because if a hollywood actress says she was assaulted ppl will believe her, but if a SWer says it nobody *outside* the industry cares

@juvnmiguel973 @Brazzers would you say the same thing about veterinarians, soldiers, healthcare professionals, construction workers and farmers? all those industries have high rates of suicide and poor MH yet nobody is out here trying to put an end to those industries...strange

@Brazzers This recent passings in the industry should be a sign that choosing that career path does thing to the mental health and instead of them using defense mechanisms when called out on it i few like a very few can do it the others act like they can for the money
