The lane reduction is related to bridge replacement projects nearby on Buffalo Road, and is expected to last two weeks, depending on weather.

🚧Traffic Alert Starting Wednesday, May 28, Highway 50 near Buffalo Road will reduce to one lane during the day. Flaggers will be present during work hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday) and lanes will reopen each evening.

As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, the National Weather Service in Omaha is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. The outdoor warning sirens in Sarpy County will not be activated for the drill.
