I hear that some contractors in the affordable housing sector are unable to pay workers and subcontractors due to delayed payments. I think President Ruto has missed the point and focused on unrealistic projects. Markets are devolved functions and could have been left to counties, while affordable housing could have been left to private developers with government incentives. The national government should instead focus on policies that can re-energize manufacturing and industrialization.
Imagine a president going to launch a hostel in an institution or a bus. This is how we have lowered the presidency. A president should focus on working from State House and driving policies.
We passed a good bill, the Sugar Bill, yet two years down the line, no one is implementing it. The strange part is that they have only implemented the collection of the sugar levy, with no impact on the sugar sector. We are doomed with a government that seems directionless.
President Ruto, can I meet you one-on-one for a discussion on how you can run this country to greatness? I have never stepped into State House, but I feel you may need me as an advisor in this remaining year, because you are likely to achieve little by the end of your term.
You are still young and energetic, but Kenyans are tired of the energy without results, sir. Let us now focus on actual work. The pact with ODM will not solve the current challenges Mr president .Mr president you might think that kenyans have no option other than you but you can be surprised. Please I beg you Kenyans want money in the circulation and this cant happen with heavy taxation and gvt not trading with its citizens and paying them promptly .Let counties work, let ministries work and let all gvt agencies work and just coordinate .Let us stop corruption and coming up with policies only to benefit the cartels and be transparent with Kenyans.

The ground is shifting and the time for business as usual is over because the state of our nation demands that we speak truth to power with unwavering clarity. We must remain vigilant as the President’s recent remarks about sending those who disturb him home reveal a chilling disregard for democratic dissent. The circumstances surrounding Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga demand a full and transparent investigation that cannot be brushed aside.
It is a bitter irony to see local leaders endorsing outside candidates for the Deputy Presidency while overlooking the undisputed presidential material within Luo Nyanza. We must stop underselling our own potential at the altar of political convenience and finally recognize the strength we already possess.
To those who believe in the Linda Mwananchi vision, the time for sitting on the fence has ended. We salute Hon. Ruth Odinga for speaking our language and stand in firm solidarity with Hon. Millie Mabona. Do not be intimidated by those in power because your voice is the pulse of the people. The fire of liberation is spreading from our upcoming rally in Meru County to a future homecoming in Siaya County where we will speak directly to our people. This journey is not for the faint hearted, but we remain unbowed.
Today, we stood in solidarity with the family of the late Sylvester Akumu Otieno in Ndori, East Asembo. As an astute businessman and a community role model, he was an epitome of kindness and a beloved husband to Rarieda Sub County Women Coordinator, Mama Emma Atieno Otieno.

It is with deep sorrow that I have learnt of the passing of Dr. Job Obwaka, a renowned Obstetrician-Gynaecologist and Board Director at the Nairobi Hospital.
To the family of Dr. Obwaka, I extend my heartfelt condolences at this difficult moment. I join you in mourning a man of great resolve, a just and principled son of our motherland, and an intellectual par excellence who devoted his life to saving human life and standing for truth.
Dr. Obwaka will be remembered strongly not only for his professional excellence, but also for his courage in moments that demanded integrity and courage. He chose conviction and truth over convenience, and in doing so, affirmed the enduring value of moral leadership and integrity we so deserve as a country.
His passing away reminds us, as a nation, of the legacy of those who stood firm in pursuit of justice and the common good.
Dr. Obwaka will be remembered for leading his colleagues in resisting the hostile take-over of the Nairobi Hospital by the country’s chief grabber leading to his arrest and incarceration in police custody for days despite his plea that he was having health challenges and advanced age.
He left police custody a broken man but stoic that there are Kenyans who cannot succumb to intimidation and police harassment. Though traumatized by the police brutality, he lived a few weeks to narrate his ordeal at the instigation of heartless and cruel grabbers of public and private property.
May the Almighty God grant his family peace and comfort, and strengthen his colleagues in the medical profession during this difficult time.
May the soul of Dr. Obwaka rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him forever.

Asante Karatina, Nyeri Town and Othaya!
We have a shared desire for leadership that is accountable and focused on delivery.
The Kenya we seek will not be built by chance, it will be built through deliberate choices, reliable leadership, and a collective commitment to do better.
That is the journey ahead. Let’s walk it together.

The Purple Train pulled into Kirinyaga today, and Kirinyaga showed up.
This country has been tested from rising costs, broken systems and leadership that is self serving.
The Kenya we dream of is not a distant hope, it is being built right here.
Asante sana to all who came out, a special thank you to our aspirants and PLP team. 🙏🏾
Tomorrow, join the #PurpleTrain as it pulls into Nyeri.
The journey continues.

Gikomba traders woke up to find their stalls demolished overnight, with no adequate notice or consultation.
Does the sixty-metre riparian rule only apply to Gikomba and informal settlements? And if these structures stood for decades, who issued the permits?
The system allowed them to be there and never built an alternative before demolishing what they had.
The question now is not just what went wrong, but where do we go from here, and how do we ensure dignity, fairness, and protection for those affected?
