The discovery of a brain tumour and a major haemorrhage led to emergency surgery. While he was receiving life-saving treatment, his wife Lucy was giving birth to a beautiful baby boy. What should have been one of the happiest times for this family quickly became the hardest — a situation no family should ever face. Liam continues to be hospitalised and faces a long recovery from a serious brain injury and oncology treatment. At home, Lucy is caring for their newborn and two young children while trying to support Liam through treatment and rehabilitation.
