Vtubing didn't suddenly "go bad" - it got big. And when anything gets big, the fascists, grifters and predators show up like it's a half-price buffet. Vtubing became visible and valuable, and that attracts parasites like shit attracts flies. What's changed isn't just the behaviour, it's the exposure. Stuff that used to hide now gets dragged into the light, loudly and constantly. And yeah, it feels like everything's on fire because the algorithm serves you a curated feed of humanity's worst impulses 24/7. But here's the bit people forget: the good communities didn't vanish, they just don't trend. There are still kind people, creative weirdos, and gremlin spaces that haven't turned into a crime documentary. So now we're just past the honeymoon phase. The rot is being exposed, boundaries are being tested, norms are being redefined . . . and we're standing in the mess, deciding what we're willing to tolerate and what we're going to build instead. Keep your space clean, keep your people safe, and don't let the worst voices convince you they're the majority.
