In retrospective Toby changing the withered rose visual to the cracked class in the Weird Route was GENIUS. Because Noelle felt like she was "just looking at her own life through the glass" before this moment! Not to mention Deltarune's theme of broken glass being broken dreams.

Any proposition that you'll need to replay Deltarune to achieve the "real" ending just falls flat to me because the game is projected to be a 40+ hour game already You know what "replaying Deltarune" would entail? Holding C for 15 hours

Kris gets he/him because theyre rebelious, goes against orders, expresses their opinion, and is "older" Frisk gets she/her because does as instructed, doesnt stray from what the player tells them, and is "younger"

@FlowersSunRain_ Idk I feel the way Kris looks down ashamed in the chapter 4 scene is not really something that would happen if this was a rare occurrence. I read it as, ‘my best friend who puts my mom on a pedestal is now seeing the bad side of her.’

I would understand if there was any indication that this was something that has happened before, but there is no subtext in the game to support that! A single instance of vague irresponsibility does not mean Toriel is a bad person or a bad parent!

People are doing the "toriel is basically just like my abusive alcoholic father because she got drunk in front of Kris one time." thing again. Like, I personally have a bad experience with my parents getting drunk but there's levels to this shit.
