I found these books—all published in 2025—a strong combination of thoughtful, useful, helpful, insightful, and challenging.

@AKofiCup @PatAbendroth Just so I'm clear: attributing thoughts or beliefs to someone that they neither hold nor teach is slanderous?
Interesting.
English

@SaucepanChamp @PatAbendroth Yeah, I'm not letting you do that to someone I consider family. Pat is so far from enamored with money and fame that even saying this is slanderous. Tread carefully.

Growing weary of selling thousands upon thousands of books, but happy to sell even more if it means helping those misled by awful, deranged arguments against the Active Obedience of Christ! a.co/d/4P7vTBz

@dbeale12 Still consider you a brother, regardless of my feelings.
And avoidance and deflection don’t exactly count as engaging.
Grace and peace.
English

@SaucepanChamp Glad to be addressed as a brother… though it usually carries more weight…
The irony of hearing it from someone who won’t show their name or face is its own kind of comedy.
English

@MitchellSheten1 The irony isn’t in whether DC theory holds water, it’s the facade of promoting “unity” after they way they handled the GRN debacle, all while continuing to subtweet those they falsely accuse without engaging directly.
Sorry not sorry.
English

@SaucepanChamp We ought to tread lightly on theology proper and the DC theory doesn't. Sorry not sorry.

@mhstephens10 @DougVanDorn The members of the GRN board are: @justin_perdue @patcrandall and @Charlie7876

Mine came out yesterday. Jon put one out today. We're tired of this stuff. People need to know both sides of the story. jonmoffitt.com/post/my-respon…

@dbeale12 When a small, committed group keeps ‘misunderstanding’ you in exactly the same way no matter how carefully you explain it, the problem is probably with them, not with you.

An article in response to recent confusion over the Angel of the Lord. I hope this can add clarity to the issues. academia.edu/145194534/A_Re…

@DemarsSean @RoomForNuance_ This approach and perspective is, unfortunately, far from common these days (especially on the more Reformed end of the spectrum). Thank you for setting a great example!
English

Much to the consternation of some, there is no beef between @RoomForNuance_ and Phil Johnson. To the contrary, I'm deeply grateful for Phil's decades of faithful labor for the cause of Christ and his gospel.
Brothers can disagree from time to time. That's part of the rough and tumble of the faith.
English

@PatAbendroth @GraceRefNet @justin_perdue @jonmoffitt Brother, your arrogance is most unbecoming.
Just lovingly warning you that you’re not giving off the vibe you think.
English

Thankful for the @GraceRefNet and @justin_perdue for not turning a blind eye to heresy. Many have lovingly warned @jonmoffitt.

@ReformedArsenal @DougVanDorn @jonmoffitt @reformedfringe @theocast_org @Foreman_FRBC ...The 1689 would not require Van Dorn's specific exegetical conclusions, but it would find nothing contradictory or heterodox in them. They represent confessional development through faithful exegesis rather than confessional deviation or reformation.
English

@ReformedArsenal @DougVanDorn @jonmoffitt @reformedfringe @theocast_org @Foreman_FRBC ...to elaborate and defend what the confession fundamentally assumes: that the Son of God is eternally active, personally present, and actively manifested throughout Old Testament revelation...
English

A question for the @DougVanDorn @jonmoffitt @reformedfringe @theocast_org @Foreman_FRBC group.
If the Angel of the LORD took on an angelic soma in the Old Testament to be able to have passions, how does the Holy Spirit become grieved in the NT apart from something similar?
English

@ReformedArsenal @DougVanDorn @jonmoffitt @reformedfringe @theocast_org @Foreman_FRBC That's what gives the impression "refusing to try" because, in my observation, your opponents have attempted to make inroads and have been rebuffed, defamed, and alluded to as heretics.
English

@ReformedArsenal @DougVanDorn @jonmoffitt @reformedfringe @theocast_org @Foreman_FRBC What I'm acknowledging is the broader pattern: it seems like many critiques fixate on his 2015 paper without engaging his many clarifications since. Folks keep quoting the analogical language as if it's univocal, ignoring the "but it is not the incarnation" right there.
English

@ReformedArsenal @DougVanDorn @jonmoffitt @reformedfringe @theocast_org @Foreman_FRBC You have been charitable, and I appreciate that. My outsider's perspective is that it seems as if most of the folks who share your perspective have more of an axe to grind rather than actually hearing what your opponents are saying. Maybe untrue, but that's the impression.
English

@SaucepanChamp @DougVanDorn @jonmoffitt @reformedfringe @theocast_org @Foreman_FRBC Fred, I've been charitable and collegiate here. Do you really mean to say that everyone who has read, written, spoken on this, are only coming to the conclusion that this is concerning because they "refuse to try."
That's a pretty uncharitable assumption/presupposition.
