@chas2117 I think it’s what Pepi does off the ball too. He presses and really helps win back the ball more than a guy like Balogun

@SauseMLS I like Pepi as a starter. He really just seems to score goals. I’m not familiar with Noahki Banks. I just hope he’s as good as it seems people think he is.

@DE_NOZe It would be one thing if Poch had a consistent XI and he doesn’t. Hes still very much experimenting and there’s time to integrate with the friendlies and easier first 2 group games.

@SauseMLS I don’t understand how anyone would want to put an untested player at the INT level, who has only played 76 min. of top flight ball in 2 months, and has no rapport or game time with any of his backline partner options into the starting lineup!?! That’s just wild.

@SauseMLS We don’t play a 433 brother. It’s not a bad lineup but this group isn’t good enough to play this isolated from each other. Our back 3 works the best. Like I said, not a bad lineup.

@COLINREESE I’ve said multiple times in the post to let guys play and give the hot hand based on the friendly performances before the WC.

Good that Pepi is starting, but you don’t care at all about who has played well and who has outplayed who. Your XI basically says, “I don’t care about how anyone played for their club or the NT, but I’m going on 100% Badge FC. It’s your right, but why would you want the guys playing who can’t perform? Once people are excellent vs Uruguay & Portugal, you can’t claim they didn’t prove they should start. None of your guys pass & move or keep possession minus Pulisic & Pepi.

He’s just not the same styler player at all to Robinson. Arfsten plays more like a winger and ignores a lot of defensive duties. If Robinson were to go off I’d want to make sure the guy who replaces him with be lock down on D. Pulisic will likely be playing in front of him as well. I don’t need Arfsten driving up more than not.
