I feel blindsided because all of my family, friends, and my husband were voting Harris-Walz but I’m a doctoral degree earner from a blue state… Obviously my frame of reference was skewed, but also says something that those with access to higher ed vote blue?

We have really underestimated, as usual, how much this country despises women.

At least one win today ✨ A win for women’s rights, for the physician-patient relationship, for empowering women to make this choice for themselves! As a physician who regularly treats spontaneous abortion in the ED, this is a win.

Speechless. Heartbroken. Absolutely cannot believe that this country elected someone whose values and policies are so backwards and harmful to SO MANY human beings.

I applied for IBR/SAVE in early June. Never got approved for it by mid-July when it was placed on pause. But my loans were consolidated/bought by a new servicer in that time. Now I owe standard repayment of $2500 due Sept. 1st. Monthly salary is 4K. What are my options?
