My favorite part about entering Illusion into a local trail competition was the looks I got, the snide comments about his hair, and the eyebrow raises when I told people he’s only 3…. Until he went in and killed it like an old pro 🤪

My newest hobby is pissing off Gypsy Vanner people on Facebook 🤪

@21cowhorses GIRL…. I could go on and on about this. They wanna be keyboard warriors about the “proper” age to start horses but let them get huge without teaching them ANYTHING which sets them up for failure later in life. Like tell me how that’s better?

All these Gypsy people say you can’t train them until they are 3, but then abandon any training at all.. ground manners… ect… and then they end up with a 3 year old stallion built like a brick shithouse they can’t handle or keep in their pallet corrals… 🐸☕️

I’ve sold two young stallions in the past month we’ve raised and started. Does anyone want to guess how many people asked me if they would work for beginners or children?

@hmccoll15 Actually horrifying. They claim the injury could have only been a day or two old but judging by the granulation tissue we guessed it to be a week old… they assumed since she was standing it wasn’t serious 😭

@SavannerNanner It’s so scary that people can’t grasp the severity of an infected joint…. 😳😳

Today I had to explain to a young couple why it was necessary to euthanize their young horse due to a severely infected heel bulb injury involving the joint… they couldn’t comprehend the horse wouldn’t survive without it’s front foot… they have 3 more horses at home…. 🫣😭

Hot take: foals by stallions with genetic diseases should not be allowed to be registered. Simply baffled by people’s negligence and greed, especially having experience on the stallion ownership side of things 🤦🏼‍♀️

Who, me? Yea I agreed to put the first couple rides on a 15.2 hand 9 year old Gypsy Vanner who has barley been touched outside of some numbnutt who neglected and abused him 🫡🫠 Jesus take the wheel

@haley_binkley Don’t shoot it in your barn! Throw a tarp over the trap then take it far away from buildings where you don’t wanna smell it, then do what ya gotta do 😅

We had a trap we weren’t using stored in the barn and skunk trapped itself. Now I don’t know what to do.
