A man says theft is evil. Another says survival justifies stealing. A third says power determines morality. Who is objectively wrong; and by what standard? Their own opinions? That’s subjective morality judging subjective morality. Moral law requires a lawgiver above human minds, not competing preferences.

Saying the Qur’an reflects 7th century Arabia assumes something the Qur’an itself doesn’t say. Yes, revelation came in specific moments in Mecca and Medina. But that’s not the same as being limited to them. The Qur’an speaks to mankind and all people not just a tribe in history and this stating throughout the Quran.

Ce n'est pas une question de juger Dieu, c'est une question de reconnaître les sources. Si un livre contient des lois qui reflètent trait pour trait la société bédouine du 7ème siècle, affirmer que c'est une loi divine éternelle, c'est ignorer l'histoire. Vous voyez la main de Dieu, moi je vois le reflet d'une époque. Et une loi qui est parfaitement calquée sur le contexte de son auteur n'a rien de transcendant, elle est simplement obsolète

Si Dieu abroge pour améliorer, alors ce qu'Il n'abroge pas est censé être parfait et meilleur ? Donc, soit vous admettez que les lois sur la peine de mort des homosexuels, le mariage de fillettes ou l'esclavage sont obsolètes et injustes (et donc que le texte n'est pas immuable), soit vous soutenez qu'elles restent le modèle moral supérieur. Dans les deux cas, l'idée d'une sagesse divine progressive s'effondre face à la réalité de ces versets.

Abrogation isn’t proof the Quran changed because of error. It’s proof of divine wisdom. Allah didn’t correct Himself He legislated gradually and brought rulings that were better or more beneficial for people. That’s not imperfection bro that’s perfect wisdom. Allah says in 2:106 “If We ever abrogate1 a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We replace it with a better or similar one. Do you not know that Allah is Most Capable of everything?”

@Savaya0 Un texte immuable et parfait ne peut pas contenir de versets qui en abrogent d'autres. Si la parole de Dieu est éternelle, elle n'a pas besoin de correctifs. L'abrogation est l'aveu logique qu'une partie du texte est devenue obsolète. La perfection ne se corrige pas.
