For decades, His Holiness has been committed to the promotion of #compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment and self-discipline. For #worldkindnessday we recognize His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s endless pursuit of peace in Tibet and across the globe.

31 Years ago today, His Holiness the #DalaiLama recognized then 6-year-old Gedhun Choekyi Nyima as the 11th Panchen Lama. 3 days later, the Panchen Lama and his family were abducted by Chinese officials. He has not been seen in public since. After 31 years, China needs to release the Panchen Lama.

On April 30th, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on China’s new law on “ethnic unity,” expressing grave concern over its impacts for the rights of ethnic groups including #Tibetans.
