This is Snuggles before all of this happened. Not a monster. Not some violent dog. Just a family dog being loved by his little human. One fear-based mistake shouldn’t erase a lifetime of love. This video broke me. Snuggles’ family showed up at the shelter with birthday cake from one of Snuggles’ dog brothers party, hoping Snuggles could at least celebrate from afar after almost 8 MONTHS locked away from everyone he loves. In this video you will see: • his mom • his two young boys • and even the children’s grandmother, who was the bite victim and is STILL fighting to save him You can hear the pain in Snuggles’ mom’s voice. The tears. The heartbreak. A mother desperately trying to find out how her dog is doing after nearly 8 months of separation while her children stand beside her missing their best friend. They were not allowed to see Snuggles. They were not given updates on his health or condition. Imagine being separated from your dog for almost 8 MONTHS with no hugs, no cuddles, no visits, no reassurance, and no idea how he’s doing.
