@SavedPersianE2 @noneya_____ @WWUTTcom Aren't we conflating the two descriptions? In 1 Peter 5:1, he calls them elders, presbuteros, not pastors. Then, in the next verse, although some versions read, "shepherd the flock", the word for shepherd is actually "feed".

“But Deborah!” was not a pastor. “But Phoebe!” was not a pastor. “But Miriam!” was not a pastor. “But Esther!” was not a pastor. “But Junia!” was not a pastor. “But Mary!” was not a pastor. There are no women pastors in the Bible. Women cannot be pastors (1 Tim. 2:11-3:7).

@AlWayzrite9 @gsmithcog @WWUTTcom I see your point, I know there are churches that disagree on this one. I am happy to submit to my pastors and how they do it in our local church because they simply go by the Bible but I see your point how many churches go down that path.

@SavedPersianE2 @gsmithcog @WWUTTcom And they still have the same "husband of one wife" qualification. The instructions in Acts 6 were to choose 7 men... Churches that ordain women deacons soon ordain them as pastors, then affirm LGBTQ+, then ordain LGBTQ+. It's a familiar slippery slope when you ignore Scripture.

@AlWayzrite9 @gsmithcog @WWUTTcom Women cannot have authority over a man or teach other men in the church 1 Tim 2:12 as was referenced. So you are right and all those offices are for men and the same office. Deacons are a different office and under the authority of pastors.

@gsmithcog @WWUTTcom This would be good to jump into the Scriptures on your own but any man leading a church. Paul, Peter, James, Timothy, Titus, many others. All have to meet 1Tim 3 qualifications.

@_iamlougotti I don't know how this is a question. Wade had GAME, maybe minus a 3 point shot. Harden's main weapon is basically traveling to get a 3. Both great passers, Wade was a monster on D and Harden is allergic to it. One is also a 3 time champ and one has 0.
