SLOP update is live.
The void has moved to a new, more flexible contract so we can keep adding new mechanics over time.
Revival now runs through a faster and cheaper Dutch auction, and buy-and-void is back on.
The old void is also being phased out. All 2k Slonks already lost there will be burned, while any still pending can still be withdrawn.

@SaviCrypto @jefdiesel I agree. But the core issue I’m highlighting is the speed at which slonks can be revived. The Dutch auction is way too slow.
It needs to be instant so people can go nft -> token and token -> nft at the same rate.
The issue right now is it only flows from nft -> token

@lesabrefomo @jefdiesel I do think that the lower end of slonks might have too few slop to justify the price but slonks have multiple ways to value so it's complicated

@lesabrefomo @jefdiesel As for any meme coin or shit token the demand is gambling.... Basically this but in this token there is a supply shock dynamic that slop stops entering (theoretically) the market at the low because it's better to flood than to void

@lesabrefomo @jefdiesel I think it's meant to rubber band. Steady dragged up by slonk floor over time. Slop is meant to be volatile fees feed the beast. It's meant to rubber band back to the top of the value range after stretching down.
At the bottom a supply shock is created because new slonk stops

@MichaelHirsch Don't let twitter over reactions influence too much honestly. As I see it, working as intended. Slop seems to be meant to be a rubber band that gradually raises higher overtime as slonk floor matures and rises. Volatility in slop feeds the machine

There are now only ~6045 slonks available to hold. Between merged, voided and bought by the bot almost 40% of supply has been eaten.
Last night the volume swamped opensea and the only way I was able to even watch the price moon was the merge tool on slonks.xyz
