After recent clashes, @ICRC’s physical rehabilitation centre in #Jalalabad is providing physiotherapy and assistive devices to the wounded. In addition, crutches and wheelchairs are provided to hospitals to help patients regain their mobility and hope after trauma.

📍 Afghanistan | “One step changed my life forever,” said Inzer Gul. Inzer was cutting grass and gathering bundles when he stepped on a landmine that cost him his legs. With ICRC support, prosthetics, and a job, he stood again, and today, he supports his family and sends his children to school.

After recent clashes in #Kandahar, many families fled their homes with nothing. Together with @ARCSAfghanistan, @ICRC provided cash assistance to 1,100 affected families to help them meet urgent needs and begin to rebuild their lives with dignity.
