Luck plays a huge part in football but if you're a good team with good processes in place, you basically nullify the impact it has on your season. We're letting bad luck moments shape our campaign because we're a coin-flip football team. We don't do enough to win games.

It’s less likely that all of Liverpool’s players stink and far more likely that they’re all often playing at the floor of their collective ability, which is pretty damning for the manager & the team’s likelihood of salvaging anything from this season

Normally it’s footballing suicide to actually play an open game against Liverpool (you can see why nobody in the PL is interested) but it feels like these players are so used to not having time & space in the final 1/3rd that the key moments end up being rushed/squandered
