Let’s summarize where we are after a 40+ day Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security.
1) ICE and CBP are funded, thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts and the foresight of President Trump and Republicans in Congress.
2) After holding DHS and the American people hostage for over 40 days, Dems got ZERO restrictions that would prevent ICE and CBP agents from doing their jobs safely.
3) Due to Dem obstruction of the appropriations process, ICE and CBP will get even more funding through budget reconciliation.
4) Dems have once again established themselves as the “Open Borders, Defund the Police” party heading into an election.
5) Dem leadership has proven once again they can’t be trusted to make a deal.
Which begs the question if you’re a Dem senator or one of their left-wing supporters: What was this really all about?

“When is Trump coming?” is the question I heard most often while in Havana Cuba, observing daily life and the hardships many people face.
Many Cubans spoke about wanting libertad. They described freedom from repression and real change.
People spoke about how they struggle to obtain water and basic necessities, shortages of affordable food, gasoline largely sold on the black market for about $8 per liter, widespread housing decay with many families living in crumbling buildings, and overnight lines at banks and ATMs as crowds wait for withdrawals limited to about $20.
Despite the conditions, people were incredibly warm, generous, and eager to have their voices heard. One man said to me, "I'm willing to die for freedom." He explained that it's important for him to speak up and not hide in fear.

At this time, numerous emergency crews are on the scene following a major explosion at a Valero refinery. Large flames are visible, with heavy smoke rising and seen for miles. Multiple witnesses reported feeling the ground shake at the time of the blast. A shelter-in-place order has been issued for nearby residents as a precaution while crews work to contain the situation. The cause of the explosion remains unknown and is currently under investigation.

@monicaonairtalk I don’t want to offend anyone at all. Women with big bottoms need to clean between the cracks more often. It leaves a musty and dirty smell. That’s my only complaint.

So about an hour ago I heard 2 insanely loud explosions, pretty spaced out. They didn’t sound like gunshots and they certainly didn’t sound like fireworks. Apparently all of South Philly called the police. Police went looking around and said it was likely fireworks, but there was no way. People heard it for like a 20 block radius. It shook my house. So I go on the Citizen app and people are saying maybe it was a meteor. I thought that sounded ridiculous until I listened to the sound of a meteor entering the earths atmosphere and that’s what it sounded like! Now I feel like I’m going crazy.

The fragmentation caused the booms felt across the city.
If it hit the ground intact?
That's roughly 25 tons of TNT hitting the ground.
