I have some thoughts about the recent OTP tracker that has been released and I have some takes that should be taken into consideration. (Long read) This tracker isn't something new, it's been around for some time but it was gate kept by people i shall not name. The tracker was made because OTPs and people who refuse to swap characters for the betterment of the team is something that in my opinion worsens the quality of the match by a mile. You guys want to complain about how this violates the integrity of the ranked ladder while having cheaters, win traders and people outright being racist in the match making it unbearable. There's clearly bigger problems than your one trick being banned. I'm not trying to justify the use of this since I have said it before, It is scummy... but just because it is scummy doesn't mean it's something that shouldn't happen. I view it as a necessary evil. Being unable to swap or being unable to comply with your team in order to win the match because A- You don't know another character B- You REFUSE to swap to a better character Is something that can be categorized as THROWING I understand the appeal of playing your favorite character, I understand that not everyone has the time to learn more characters and i understand that not everyone wants to play other characters but don't sit here and complain about your only character in a roster of almost 50 FREE playable heroes being the reason you lost that game. "Oh they banned my character that's why we lost this game" "Oh if they don't want to face you at your best they are scared" This is a competitive game and people will try by any means necessary to win the game both legally and illegally. I don't care about the argument "you are doing this for 0 money and only for fun" it's a video game, you do it for fun and you being on your OTP not letting everyone else play the game RUINS that. Which BTW this isn't something that breaks TOS either, you can do the exact same thing this tracker does by simply writing down the level and banner of the known OTPs in queue. So no issue there.

I have been playing video games since I was SEVEN years old attempting to go pro just to be told "no" after qualifying for a 3,000,000 Marvel Rivals tournament that is 16+ by playing a qualifier tournament that was 13+. In games like Fortnite these LAN events are 13+ and I don't see why rivals is any different. With that being said I am very sad being forced to leave my team and I hope @MarvelRivals changes these rules for any prodigies like me and @Treeiwnl in the future.
