@JamaicanJefe It’s not as straight forward as you think it is. A simple low hanging example is- If a matter goes over its schedule in higher court, then that matter takes precedent. It is highly unusual that a defense attorney doesn’t turn up for a matter without having a worthy reason.

This thing about defense attorneys and prosecutors being absent needs to be stopped. There needs to be a rule that after 2 absences, the trial must proceed. Damn waste of time.
