@TrevReav2022 @NUFCMurph How? If th time has come for our manager, which is looking increasingly likely, how is it not an argument to want him gone just because the average football fan can’t name a replacement? That’s the jobs of the people who get paid hundreds of thousands a year to do.

@broondog73 @NUFCMurph You’re comparing 3 basket cases of clubs man. It’s not our job to find a replacement? I believe there are plenty with fresher ideas than Howe at the moment. Would they work out? Who knows? But you can’t keep using “be careful what you wish for” as an excuse not to sack a manager

@NUFCMurph If you want a change of manager and don’t know a manager who is available and better then that makes you a numpty. Most clubs are looking for a top manager and look where that’s getting them eg Chelsea, Tottenham, Man U , most the league , be careful what you wish for.

100% this is the time to back the manager. Whenever things go awry, it’s instinct for people to say change is needed at the top, but the grass isn’t always greener. Stick with him, for me. Things will come back around! It’s a test for him now, though! He has to adapt #NUFC

Eddie Howe retains the backing of the #NUFC hierarchy and rightly so. Delivered a trophy and 2 x Champions League campaigns. Many of their issues this season are at the door of the owners IMO. Isak saga should never have dragged on as long as it did.

The seasons been bad aye. Writing off and giving up is ridiculous. 21 points to play for. 2 week break, 1 game per week. 6 wins out 7 gets us 60 points. Instead of whinging and moaning, back and support the team til the end. Then makes the big decisions in the summer #NUFC

I honestly don’t know who we would get in, it might not work, but it’s very stale now. Bar some Euro games it’s been a slog watching us at home

Yes 2 people died. On average one person drowns in the UK every day. The meningitis deaths were the equivalent of one person in every 35 million of the population dying from the disease. Currently one person in 3.45 million has meningitis. Yet the media went into panic mode and attempted to scare the pants off everyone. It's what they do. I'm waiting for their "Stay away from the water - It will kill you" campaign.

@offitman @PeteGravesTV As for the “Who do you replace him with”argument it’s a mental take. You don’t keep him if it’s gone stale just because you’re scared of change. The way we are at the moment there is plenty coaches who would come in and change things for the better IMO.

Newcastle don’t have a great history of replacing successful Managers. Dalglish and Souness followed Keegan and Sir Bobby. Both great candidates on paper but neither worked out. It doesn’t mean Eddie Howe can’t be replaced but history offers a warning. #nufc

@ScabbyM @PeteGravesTV Wissa? He'd have been a brilliant signing if he hadn't gotten injured on international duty shortly after signing. Fee was high considering his contract, but he's a quality striker. Not Howe's fault he's then missed a lot of time including bedding in
