Shoddy result for Newcastle. There are certainly conversations to be had now season done. Personally believe keeping Howe is the best move still but club must give a proper assessment and see what is the best outcome for Newcastle, not Eddie and co.

Thank you to the travelling support today , clearly a very disappointing result at the the end of an underwhelming season, despite some great moments in the champions league and other domestic cups we have not lived up to where we should and need to be. All of us from ownership down to the coaching staff and players will work tirelessly over the summer to advance our project ,come back stronger and start the new season in the best way possible To all our supporters, staff everyone associated with @NUFC thank you for your support.

I was Howe out, & I still am. I excepted that he will be here next year, but it can’t go on like this. He asked for time on the training ground, nothing has changed. 17 losses as it stands, same as Spurs, turgid football every week, no fight, no real plan. He’s got to go. #nufc
