There was three times in my life I needed to get to €100k. The first time I needed €100k was to pay for flight school to become a pilot. I took out a loan for this and used that money to invest in myself for future returns. The second time, I needed €100k to buy a house, I saved like my life depended on it, no reckless spending, the same car for 10 years, I wouldn’t even get a coffee in a coffee shop. This was surprisingly easy, a few simple decisions over a few years and you can save this amount. The third time was getting to €100k invested, like everything I’ve done, I became obsessed, I learnt, studied, found correlations and learnt what were my strong a weak points and focused on continuous improvement. I focused over and over on my failures, I have put in over 40,000 hours studying charts, fundamental and technical analysis and the results speak for themselves now. I can tell you that getting to €100k is not easy but it is achievable, you need to sacrifice and be fully committed to your goal. Use the time to progress, the journey is often the reward, you just don’t realise it at the time. Once you reach €100k invested, you start to benefit from the compound effect and exponential growth is inevitable, stay the course, stay disciplined and get to that €100k invested.
