Christmas is a great time to spend with friends, family and loved ones and to create happy memories. It is also important to continue to be aware about the information you share over Christmas and to be aware of suspicious communications.

Morning all, SCAMWhere? would like to wish everyone receiving their GCSE results today all the very best and well done. You have all done brilliant and accomplished so much already whatever results you receive, you should all be very proud.

SCAMWhere? would like to send a huge good luck to everyone who will be receiving their A level, T and VTQ results today! You're all amazing and can achieve so much whatever your grades.

Again, I would like to personally say a massive thank you to Chesterfield Library who have been nothing short of brilliant to me and if you have a local library yourself please pop in, they have so much helpful information and resources.

I have now taken down the SCAMWhere? display at Chesterfield Library. I have dropped in some of my SCAMWhere? leaflets and staying safe online information leaflets for anyone who would like to pop in and take a couple.

Throughout the summer holidays it is important to set aside some time to have conversations with friends, family, children and even as part of a community group about scams, how to stay safe online and the importance of talking and reporting our experiences.

1/ Scams are local, national and international issues that can have detrimental and harmful impacts upon individuals, communities, businesses and education.

Never feel embarrassed and never feel ashamed, fraudsters are extremely cunning, professional and indiscriminate, lets continue to be empowered, informed and able to better manage scams for when or if they happen.

Anyone can be scammed, anyone can be caught off guard, lets continue to share, talk and report scams! By sharing our experiences is not only extremely brave but makes immeasurably positive impacts for others.
