Random Q: texts say the manubriosternal joint is a symphysis joint but can be synovial or synchondrotic. Is there a functional/developmental reason as to why there is a disc present? if the joint is synchondrotic is the fibro disc initially present? #AnatQ @AskAnatomist

Quick #anatomy question: many textbooks only mention corpus spongiosum surrounding the penile urethra allowing for patency during an erection, and is not mentioned for females. Do all genitals have corpus spongiosum surrounding the urethra? #anatChat #MedEd

@amandameyerphd I liked that they deemed the building to be suitable for anatomy/medical teaching two days after it burnt down (seems a little suspicious to me haha).

@amandameyerphd I really enjoyed it!! Some parts the internet dropped out but everyone watching in person really enjoyed it. We were running super behind so we had to move on with no questions but super interesting, and definitely not a reflection on your presentation!

Feeling very unsure how this went as I could hear lots of people talking while I was and my internet cut out at the end so no clapping, no comments, no questions. Very disconcerting. 😭
