Had a phone call with a friend who is also a journalist. It wasn't everything entirely, but it was motivating. There was shared solidarity. There was understanding. There was visibility. There are... good things & good people. we can all get through it with collective action.

It's really bleak living in a world where if someone doesn't have a support system or they stand up against oppression, they are left for dead or outright killed. Sigh.
