@Breaking911 Lindsey Graham was a war hawk who’d put Ukrainian or Israeli interests over the lives of Americans if given the choice. Those quick to go to war often don’t risk their own children’s lives, or in his case, have any children at all.

@PalmerLuckey As someone who was a child in the 90s, I got to experience this and it was magical. They had SNES versions too, before this. It was like an early prototype of online services we see today.

Fun fact: The final and fully-perfected version of the Nintendo 64 hardware was the LodgeNet 64, a system that allowed hotels to rent out N64s by the minute, straight to your room! The ModRetro M64 and M64 Pro controller include hardware and software options based on LodgeNet!

The PA602 is a HUGE case despite being classified as a mid tower. Exceptional quality and thermals are fantastic under load. I went with an all black built, which looks superb without RGB, but the occasional unicorn vomit is nice. Mounted the 5090 vertically while I was at it.

@Sabre_AZ @Jamonetaaaa Thank you! Yours looks sharp and professional. A lot better than a $1100 Steam Machine! It was fun to build too.

Why spend over $1000 on a Steam Machine when this exists for about $250, including case and psu? BC-250 build running SF6 1440p, max settings. All 40CU's unlocked, running on a safe 1500mhz gpu speed to keep temps low and stable. Can overclock up to 2200mhz, but requires better cooling, and silicon lottery

All 40cu unlocked and haven’t had any issues yet. It is stable at 1750mhz in furmark, but does touch up to 85 C under stress. So it can get warm. I haven’t tried to push it past that. I just built it this last weekend so I still have some troubleshooting and benchmarking to do. I’m not getting any audio - but it works with my USB headset, so that’s on my list to address.

@ScanlineSage Im curious about blower style like yours. How are your thermals? 40cu unlocked? And overclocks?

The BC-250 lives! This was such a cool project. I wanted to make it look like a Duracell. I installed Bazzite, but I also considered CachyOS. Indie games and emulation are in the future for my poor man’s Steam Machine. Credit to case designer: makerworld.com/models/2780951…

This is how people lost their shirts during the subprime mortgage crisis. They overextended their investments based on the conventional wisdom that housing prices would continue to rise, along with the assumption that they could keep collecting rent indefinitely. If you’re going to do this, be sure you have the capital to continue paying the mortgages.

Grant Cardone says buying a house with all cash is ridiculous. His move? If you handed him a $700,000 house, he would sell it for 600 that same day, take the 600, and buy 2.4 million dollars in real estate that pays itself off over 30 years. Lot of numbers. But let's get clear on the original offer. The offer was $700,000 to buy a house. Selling it for 600 the same day is a $100,000 loss for no reason. Here is what I would do instead. Buy the house for 700. Then put debt on it, maybe 500 grand through a cash-out refinance, which is tax-free. Now I still own the house. I throw a renter in it. I pulled 500 grand out tax-free. And I use that to lever up and do it again, and again, and again. Same game he is playing. I just keep the house and skip the 100 thousand dollar loss. He has a lot of good points here. The first move was just a little off.

Reshelled an old gameboy I snagged on eBay. It turned out great, but I realized it matches my watch. Absolutely love this G-Shock.

I just bought the Analogue 3D. It’s an excellent alternative to original hardware for use with modern displays. Gameplay is superb, and although it’s not 1:1 cycle accurate, it’s indistinguishable for me. The built-in filters aren’t as configurable as a retrotink, but are convincing and simple to navigate. Its overclocking feature makes noticeable improvements in several titles over the N64. Some (mistakenly) assume it has internal resolution enhancement, but it does not. It’s still very much the N64. I use the NSO N64 controller with it, so it’s nice to have that wireless option and playing on my C5 OLED in surround sound has been a unique experience. It’s a nice all in one package. It just works. It’ll be neat to see how the M64 stacks up. With that being said, if you already have a retrotink and want to play N64 on a modern display, you could skip it and not miss much.

What do y’all think about the Analogue 3D vs. Modretro’s M64 vs. original Nintendo 64 hardware? I’m intrigued by the FPGA-based systems but I’m happy with original hardware.
