@qureshi2_sultan It was hard to believe not because of the technology itself, but because of the operational challenges involved. You would need thousands of people working together to manipulate it at scale, which is why it always seemed unlikely to me.

I have always been against the theory of EVM manipulation and believed that something like this was not possible. However, after seeing the election results in West Bengal today, it has started to raise some questions in my mind about whether it is truly impossible.

AITC lost the state not because Hindu vote consolidation of BJP. It is because the Muslim vote is badly split. For example: Check the 1st round result of Tehatta Assembly. BJP is polling only 3% vote. But Left is polling 34%. It is a 90% muslim dominated area. So finally BJP will win this seat. #WestBengalLegislativeAssemblyelection2026

In West Bengal, Congress is leading in only one seat—Raninagar—where Zulfikar Ali is ahead of the TMC by around 4,000 votes.
Interestingly, two other candidates with the same name, Zulfikar Ali, are also contesting from the seat as independents.

INC is leading in 23 seats in Assam, out of which 18 have Muslim candidates. Still, Congress supporters will complain that Muslims didn’t support them enough.
