@RiotPhroxzon I think you guys have to explain the MMR-System to some players again, they seem to forget sometimes its supposed to be like -17 +23 and not everyone should now get more lp by default in diamond or whatever elo. Remember my younger self ticketing at riot for diamond 5 -20 +15 :D

Pushed another fix to all regions for LP gains in Apex an hour ago (please don't link screenshots from several hours ago) .
This should hopefully be the last fix.
Thanks to everyone for your patience and helping us troubleshoot the issue. Please respond to this thread if you're seeing anomalous gains and losses.
Some very small number of players at the top of the ladder might still have bad gains but it should be slight.

The fix in question is everyone just gets flat +/- 20 LP no matter their MMR LOL

@KiawashJ @RiotPhroxzon Why so much ragebait, its a small percentage of Apex+ players (Apex+ = Master+) and if there are 25k master player and realistically maybe 2-3k of them have bad gains at the upper end its a small percentage yes.

@RiotPhroxzon why are you guys constantly pushing the "very small percentage of players" narrative? There seems to be a GIANT disconnect between what numbers you believe to be the issue, and how many players complain about it. seems like downplaying, as long as thers no data to back the claim

@Relise_lol @Kuroneel_ @RiotPhroxzon Well Apex tier are the players master 0 lp, but also the players Challenger 2klp does not matter if they say 15% of Apex players they count as well and it can also happen in "low master" for example my smurf went from normal gains +20 / -20 to +17 / -23 randomly beeing at 250lp

Apologies to some of the Apex tier folks who've still been having bad gains over the weekend. (this shouldn't be affecting any other tiers)
Wanted to acknowledge that this is a frustrating situation for y'all.
While the number of people affected is low (<15% of apex players), we'll be looking to rectify the situation tomorrow and fingers crossed, that fix can keep things stable for the rest of the season.

@GriffinHQ_ Reset makes sense but then again not everyone in highelo is pro player/streamer and have that much time and to take away 2months of grind is kinda sadge. Of course by time you will get back up but for example in my Case, i had loads of time in february and now its very limited.

@Kuroneel_ @RiotPhroxzon Information from OPGG: ~25k Master players in euw alone and the lp gains are only rly bad at like top 3k, some have bad lp gains earlier, but also for some its not as bad in top 3k players. Anyways Apex Tier = Master+ and therefore 15% makes sense. I get +17/-23 on 850lp lately

@bonevoid It’s really nice but sometimes I wish I could Dodge like once per Week. But I rather Tank 1 Most likely loss than multiple dodges a day. Sadly for me the Lobby terminated thing Never worked on obv Griefers not sure if my Team mates are just lazy to Report In CS or why that is.

@drewlevin Well Said and totally agree, i think you guys are currently on the Right Track and improving Week by Week with the Ban/Report System. It’s just Hard to get the years of Bad behaviour out of people exspecially with Many role Models on Twitch for that exact behaviour.

I'm not saying that someone inting your game after you're mean to them is acceptable. I'm saying that it is a predictable consequence of a human being having a bad time, and if you care primarily about winning, it's worth understanding that and acting in line with your goals.

A thought I had this morning: I encounter a decent amount of people trying to justify their negative chat behavior by saying that Riot doesn't sufficiently penalize soft inting, with the implication that their own use of chat is their only real recourse to getting inted.

Games per Season and back then you got a Chest once per Champ with an s- Rating or higher and keys were gated to how much you Play. Never been toxic rly exspecially Not on smurf acc‘s
