@JohnTheMon2 @realjtlopez I suppose, but we've never seen a non-Jedi character struggle using a lightsaber, and Pre Viszla and Sabine Wren both seemed to use it fine, albeit Trial of the Darksaber had Kanan tell Sabine that saber was heavy, but she didn't struggle near as much as Din did

@For1Km7633 @xsorro7 I didn't see her ass in no X-Wing on Yavin, I saw Vader tho. I saw Orson Krennic go and retrieve the plans himself. She's on a ship, big deal. She surrendered herself? She's a member of the Imperial Senate she knew they wouldn't kill her immediately.

The same Luke who proved the old Jedi wrong and saved the galaxy through his compassion for his father is telling a child “you either give up your dad or quit being a Jedi, no attachments.” Come on.

@CHARLOT21755647 Yeah, Andor didn’t align with my initial perception of Cassian in Rogue One, but that came off not as contradiction but recontextualization. You can read all of his choices and actions in Rogue One as informed by his character in Andor and it all works, which is super impressive.

It’s a strange complaint for me because Andor “reconfigures” my reading of Cassian in the film but doesn’t ever contradict it. For example, he is implied in the film alone to usually blindly follow orders but with Andor he reads now as a man who makes smart decisions…
