@Beluba Good sir! I seen 7’4 didn’t get Bronze interceptor with max wingspan but 7’3s & 7’2s did with shorter, is that a glitch & something that would be fixed before release or intended on purpose?

@Sccoring I hear what you saying, one thing I don't think people consider tho is the kind of game the devs themselves enjoy/want to see when the product is finished. Regardless of what the "sim" side or "comp" side or "arcade" side wants it's ultimately on the devs to create their vision.

I wanna play devils advocate so hear me out. With all the new info & gameplay that's been released for NBA 2K26, there's been a lot of talk about playstyles, mainly arcade vs realism & how players "should" approach the game when playing.
Firstly, everyone is entitled to play their game in any way that they choose, this should be obvious already.
That said, why is it just so inherently awful to approach a videogame that's trying to replicate something in real life with that medium in mind when playing? You see people doing it towards other games all the time, but for some reason, it's just so taboo & frowned upon to do it for NBA 2K.
A few examples:
Ex1: There's this old guy who has gone viral multiple times that plays Battlefield, who's a veteran sniper & he literally shows that his real life experience helps him easily in-game. There's also other veterans who play games like Ready or Not, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six Seige, etc, who approach those games using their experience as a tool in-game as well.
Ex2: GTA has multiple role-playing servers where people literally go out of their way to act as if it's in real life but within the game. And that community is huge.
Ex3: WWE 2K/WWE Games is another one where a lot of players approach it with the mindset of trying to replicate actual 5 star matches that you see on Tv instead of just randomly fighting just because it's a game.
Ex4: Even games like DBZ Xenoverse, Fighter Z, Sparking Zero & the Naruto Ninja Storm series you have players trying to replicate the fights you'd see within the anime.
All that being said, I'm just not understanding why when it comes to NBA 2K, that's where ppl are drawing the line for simulation...
