Over the last three trading days, I’ve faced losses totaling over $2 million. Unfortunately, it happened because I didn’t properly manage the risk on the leveraged products I was trading. It felt a lot like 2022 when I was on a roll, thinking I was invincible – like nothing could stop me. I got caught up in feeling like I was one of the best traders ever, but without proper risk management, it all came crashing down. The volatile market environment and Wall Street’s reaction to the tariffs really caught me off guard. I’ve posted two recaps about it, and I encourage you to check them out.
