❗️Ukraine is already depleting the Russian army faster than Russia can replenish it, stated the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, in an interview with The Economist.
▪️ Since the beginning of winter, Ukrainian drones have destroyed or put out of action at least 8,776 more Russian soldiers than Moscow has been able to replace with new ones. December 2025 became the first month of the entire war in which verified Russian losses from drone strikes exceeded their replenishment.
▪️ The USF has built an entire ecosystem consisting of 15 interconnected functions — from electronic warfare and reconnaissance to demining and ammunition production. According to Magyar, NATO generals still do not fully understand how it works.
▪️ Thanks to strict security protocols, the cumulative casualty rate in the USF units does not exceed 1%.
▪️ According to Magyar’s calculations, the loss ratio stands at 400 Russians per one Ukrainian fighter, and the cost of destroying one Russian soldier is only $878.
▪️ “I feel no moral doubts. None at all. A man with a rifle is coming to kill me on my land. It’s either I kill him, or he kills me. Millions of Ukrainians, including my mother, draw strength from what we do,” said Magyar.
