I'm deeply saddened by this latest huge round of layoffs for my T-Mobile family. Nah. My Metro Family, let's call it what it is. As someone who was "impacted" in 2020, I can only say take strength in the things you bring to the table. This isn't the end. It's a beginning.

@just_luis15 Facts. I found a second chapter after 20 years in wireless in something entirely different. When it comes to it, what you bring to the table is what matters. Not the industry.

A piece of advice. Don't be scared to go career searching in another industry. Far too many times we think our skills are only transferable in the Telco world. Your skills are wanted/needed in other industries

And there it is...a relic from the ancient world. Still fits, too.

@CherrlDaubney I mean...a lot of us don't work there, anymore. I was a twenty year employee, and it It happened to me two years ago, right after the merger they promised us would add jobs, not eliminate them. I'm just done letting that moment define me.

@MattFromTMobile This happened at most other levels of the company outside of retail starting two years ago, unfortunately the "ripple" has finally hit you guys as well. Competition to find new roles was so fierce, many of us have finally left altogether. It's just not the company it used to be☹️

@MagentaJester I feel for you, this happened to me in 2020 in those first rounds of this BS. My advice is to take advantage of the career/resume building resources to find a path to move on. Sadly, most of the opportunity you'll find to come back will be well below your experience range. Luck.

@MagentaCait I think it depends on where you are in your life journey, in some ways. If your current situation doesn't ideally insist on you staying where you are, you should consider the infinite possibilities that an unscripted change could present in your life.
