My family bask in 76 were on a flight from London to Hawaii and Marc Bolan and family were on the flight (it was a 747 with the lounge) anyway we were staying in LA. for 2 days visiting friends and that's were the Bolan family was going and who do you think was picking him up? Yep Bowie himself. It was hilarious because the whole 12 hours I 13 at the time was asking him (Marc) about Bowie to the point of exasperation and he never let on but at lax he said come on I want you to meet someone. There he was in the back of a limo. He said hello and shaked our hands. I was flabbergasted speechless. Mark and his family were going to come in and visit us in Hawaii he had make really good friends with my dad by that point but of course... quite the story huh?

Yeah me too I'm a big fan of his early stuff up two Diamond Dogs. But also his middle career thin white duke albums. the Berlin trilogy and of course scary monsters is a fantastic album. and yes Little Wonders is a shall I say wonderful song. Although like I said earthlings is not one of my favorite albums that whole period from Black Tie Earthlings hours and heathens I didn't really listen to at the time cuz I was in the studio so much myself I just kind of miss them but there's some good stuff there. But like I said Bowie is just an artist unto himself he had the biggest influence on me than any other artist even though we sound nothing alike. But my favorite albums are the early stuff from first David Bowie album through to Aladdin sane and even though he didn't I consider Diamond Dogs part of the Ziggy era. I did get to meet him once but I don't tell that story because No One Believes Me.

@Fraser_USA @hasanthehun @trouble_man90 So the small concert that didn’t have massive lights all the time cut the power, and not the blockade on Cuba. Right.

@hasanthehun @trouble_man90 It’s true
Hasan, your grifting killed people in hospitals on ventilators.
SHAME on you!

I’m in Cuba. What I’m witnessing is American imperialism murdering the Cuban people. We are nothing but rich terrorists and soulless murderers. Viva Cuba.

@draculatreat I don’t like the bass and also it follows up Thered better be a mirrorball and is followed by SOAG. It js doesn’t hit like the rest of the album does
English

@MichaelTB63 @TheExtremeMusi1 I’m a big Diamond Dogs fan, I love his 67-70 period more than most. I do enjoy earthling tho, just not as much as his others. Little wonder is probably one of my fav songs from him tho
English

@Schengerns @TheExtremeMusi1 Dude I'm a huge Bowie fan earthlings okay not my favorite. But you know when you're a Pioneer like Bowie was he's going to do some things that older fans don't like. And of course when he does something he usually does it better than anyone else. I do like the Arctic Monkeys

@iloveindustrial No, because the biggest post rock band makes 20 minute songs that are in one ear out the other, and the other biggest one makes repetitive slop
